I wanted to tell you about this artist.
You see he has this way about him, he has this patients and calming.
I wrote to him,
I told him of our mutual friends and that myself and Tobias are fans,
We ended up at his house.
I would say his colouring and compostion is one of my single most influences ( I told him this)
He resinates within Tobias I can see it, Arthur’s work stuck him at an early age.
He is one of the artists at 2000AD, only he is no ordinary comic artist.
He took us into a room in his welcoming house and showed us a unit filled with art.
We spent 7hours looking through all the pages he had done for various magazines and comics, just the 3 of us in this beautiful room, in a beautiful county looking at astonishing art.
He let us take a peice of art each, I could barely believe it.
I know the comic industry well and I know what original artwork means. And especially what it means at the standard he sets.
I would like to thank Arthur for that day, and for setting a standard I know I have to work for.
