This girl is someone I have wanted to shoot for a long time now, from the first time I saw her I was somewhat captivated.
I see Karley from time to time whilst I’m sitting in Mavi’s amazing apartment having my random meetings with Matthew.
Mavi’s flat is somewhat of a hub and meeting place of London creative’s at the moment. Occasionally Matthew and I sit and talking about our next shoot or what direction we want to take our collaborations in while Karley floats in and out of the room. She is, although her mind appears beautifully filthy, a graceful and quite girl. Who sits and quietly and muses, falls asleep on things and I have to find all the strength I have not to stare at her constantly whilst being in her presents.
Her writing reads like a contemporary Tropic of cancer and it is all so effortless for her. She looks like my imaginations version of Clara from the Torture Garden, graceful, womanly and wonderfully aroused by sex, death and destruction. What a beautiful creature.

Where is that photo from? I want to see more. Karley has the most gorgeous nose & jaw.
ReplyDeleteThe thing with her writing---or at least, what she writes about---is so much of it is, I think, submerged in this Hedonistic Youth crap, which I can't stand, but her---for want of a better word---spirit (I can't believe I just said that) is entirely amazing and good to read and is conveyed perfectly. Her blog is the only one on the "Vice network" that I actually enjoy.
...But then nobody asked for my opinion anyway.
Just tracked down that photoshoot. Yeah, beautiful, and her quotation is good, too.
